We were sent here by the hotel that we are staying at in the area... and I am so glad we were! The area that the restaurant is located is far from exciting..a teeny bit run down, some homeless people walking around... but you completely forget about that when you walk in. The decor is absolutely beautiful and rustic; lots of woodwork, dim lighting, and extremely comfy chairs. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by a bartender named Kade who was absolutely amazing! he mentioned that he had only been working there a few weeks, which was do surprising. He had great menu knowledge, gave amazing recommendations, and made our experience wonderful. I hope he stays working there a long time and...

I will say, if for anything the staff are worth the visit. Meaghan, Mike and Victoria are AMAZING. Because of them I made two visits to The Twisted Cork. They have a decent wine selection from BC and a menu that is sure to please any palate. The menu changes, but honestly, whatever you order is full of flavor. I ordered their grilled salmon on a bed of tagliatelle with grilled asparagus. The temperature was good, seasoning was a touch heavy BUT in no way effected my enjoyment of the dish. $38 very worth it. Over the two evenings I spent with The Twisted Cork let's just say I took a little tour of Mike's signature cocktails and I was in foodie Bliss. My favorite was his Elderflower Basil Sour...

Let's start with the good....cool building, super neat decor. And now the review. Reserved a table for 10 in the back. Smaller table with chairs crowded around it. Maybe an extra table would have helped. Waitress was pleasant enough, just didn't have the moxy. Asked for a lemon wedge- waited and waited....finally had to ask again. Not sure what she was doing to forget a simple lemon wedge. The menu was a little over the top...duck, pheasant, etc. Ordered the stuffed chicken and fork mashed potatoes. Chicken was cooked nicely, not a huge fan of the stuffing. Oozing too much with cream cheese. Potatoes? It was more like risotto. Taste was ok, maybe a 3/5 . The place was busy enough on a Monday...

Great food and great company! I was in town for a short engagement and the folks here made me feel right at home and the food and atmosphere were just awesome. I had the Tapas assorted cheese plater and another shrimp skewer appetizer the first night and the Halibut entree the second night. I must admit, I was surprised to find a place like this in Prince George. Its a one-of-kind gem in a small town. The staff, atmosphere and food were definitely a good value for the price. Highly recommended. Book a table now

Just great. A little island of great gourmet food in Northern BC. I had the Bison tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly. Clients had steak and they really enjoyed it. Great wine selection with fab service. I'll be back for client dinners at the next opportunity. Reasonably quiet which is great for business discussions.

Took over an hour to get our meals. Food was horrible. Pork Chop was dry. Potatoes had no flavour. All 5 meals were cold. Service was slow and non existent. Absolutely horrible experience all around. Even the drinks were warm and flat

Love love love the building! We went there because we won a gift card for them. But we felt like the dinner was definitely not worth the price. And my wife got food poisoning. We won't be going back.

Great service and food! One of PGs better dine in experiences. The chicken pesto and Brie sandwich was delicious and a great beer selection on tap.
