If you find yourself hungry after walking around in the brisk seaside wind, you should be aware that the food served here is not your typical oversized American portion. The staff member at the order window is excellent. The dish I am reviewing is called the Rice Bean Trio (rice, bean soup, and beef slices) and it has a delicious taste with a satisfying portion size. The food at this restaurant was very disappointing. The Press was decent, but the corn was burnt and unappetizing, and the chicken thigh was so overcooked that we could only manage a couple of bites before deciding to throw the rest away. Perhaps this place was better in the past, but as of July 2023, I would recommend giving it a miss. Overall food rating: 2 out of 5.

Caribbean roast is one of the best sandwiches in the greater Seattle area. The fire roasted corn was decent but I prefer the red beans and rice. Prices are a little high but that’s the case for a majority of restaurants in Seattle. Lines can be long but they move rather quickly. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

My favorite Go-To for the best sandwiches in Ballard. Love the Caribbean Roast and the Palomillo Steak sandwiches. Their Fire-Roasted Corn is seasonal and delicious if you have a chance to try it. Don't be surprised if there's a line there. The food is worth the wait. Book a table now

We ordered food online for pick-up at 6:30pm and it says it was going to be ready at 7:15pm and we were there on time but our food was not ready until 8pm. We waited there for about 45 mins and they just kept on saying our order is next in line.Food: 4/5

terrible sandwich. drowned in sauce. halfway cut in half. stale bread. huuuuuge chunks of onion. this could've been really good if there was some actual effort exerted in making it. clearly no one could care less. just a train wreck of a lunch.Food: 1/5

Best sandwiches in town. Started as a fan of Paseo twenty years ago, still appreciating the way Un Bien and its owners carry on with the fabulous food. Chicken breast sandwich with a side of rice and beans is always my go-to!Food: 5/5

This Seattle spot serves up the most delicious Caribbean cuisine, surpassing even Paseos. My go-to dish is the Caribbean roast dinner. Overall, a perfect 5/5 for the food quality.
