This was my first time ordering from Uncle Steve's Of Roslyn, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The total for three people was $95, including tax and tip, and everything arrived cold. The ribs were just average, the brisket was dry, and the tater tots tasted like frozen supermarket ones. The BBQ beans were completely inedible—hard as rocks. When I called to complain, I was told that the beans are supposed to be firm because they cook them for a long time, unlike typical mushy baked beans. I found this excuse unconvincing; the beans clearly weren't soaked properly before cooking. The restaurant should have owned up to the issue instead of making excuses. Very impressed with this BBQ. Up there with the best including Hometown BBQ, Fette Sau, Maple Tree in Riverhead, and my all time favorite Bobcat's Texas BBQ in NJ (which is sadly now closed). First time ordering from Uncle Steve's. Not a great experience. I was disappointed. Brisket was the only tasteful item in my order. Burnt ends had several dry and hard pieces. Cole slaw had zero taste. Corn bread ok...macaroni and cheese tasted like store bought. Will not go back there again! Not worth $80.00
The food is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding! They also give back to the community—just donated meals to the essential workers at my agency, which is greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to enjoying their food again soon!

I'm not sure if we happened to visit on an off night, but I really can't grasp how anyone would find this food enjoyable. We spent quite a bit of money only to end up discarding our meals and ordering something else. Save yourself the hassle.
Amazing!!! We absolutely love traveling south for BBQ, and this is the first restaurant close to home that really comes close! The beef tips, chicken sandwich, and ribs were all outstanding! And let's not forget the pickle chips!

Absolutely a must-visit! The menu is incredibly inventive, so make your way to Uncle Steve's House of BBQ. The owner, Matt, is truly outstanding.
We've never experienced BBQ like this before. It's the best food we've ever had—thank you! The chicken sandwiches were my favorites.
