While the decor is unremarkable and the restaurant is a bit cozy (meaning you might have to wait a little at the entrance while tables are cleared), the service is prompt and efficient. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and was really impressed by the delicious dough—super tasty—and there was an ample amount of cheese on top! I would highly recommend this place if you're in the Union Square area and craving some good pizza!
Stayed at Marriot right down the street I could see Vito's from my window. Most of the reason I chose to eat there. I was surprised by the line so I figured I made a good choice. Food was good but place is really small if your Trying to eat there which most people out of town will want to do. Pizza was better than average that's why I gave it a 4, won't recommend if your looking for a sit down restaurant environment.
Three of us dined on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was quite busy, and we had to wait a little while to be served, but it was definitely worth it. The service was good, and the pizza tasted fantastic. We shared a 16-inch calzone between two of us, while our son ordered the pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious, and we would definitely return.

I had a fantastic experience at Uncle Vito's Pizzeria. The pizza was excellent, and the service was friendly. Located near Union Square, it's one of the best places in San Francisco for pizza.
