I have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and recently went with some friends on a Saturday. We had made a reservation weeks in advance, but still had to wait 30 minutes for our table. We were seated upstairs, which was a bit disappointing as the atmosphere wasn't as nice as downstairs, but we didn't let it bother us. We ordered two bottles of wine, appetizers, entrees, coffees, and desserts. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. However, there was a mishap when our coffees were brought out, resulting in one of my friends accidentally spilling coffee all over me. This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
I haven't been back in a few years. I wanted a comfortable place to spend an evening with friends. Reminds of Via Veneto ... and it didn't disappoint! Cool, comfortable and the food was wonderful! We will come back!
I was seated upstairs at a table with another family sharing the same table, and to make matters worse, we were right next to a table of 20. There were more people hovering over us than in Penn Station.

After having had dinner here for a long time, we were very disappointed with almost everything. Hope it was just a deviation.
Finally returned for dinner and it was thoroughly enjoyable! Table for 4 was roomy and the service was excellent.
