First visit to Urban Farmer. It was disappointing. The service was great but the food was mediocre. A highlight was the fried cabbage and potato tart, but the steaks were not cooked to our requested temps, were tough, and not particularly tasty. The decor is pretty casual, but given the cost, kinda strange. We really wanted to enjoy the restaurant, but a steakhouse has to deliver really good steaks!
Food delicious (when it came out correctly). Kitchen made quite a few mistakes though, which made it difficult for the wait staff. Waiters tried their best but there was a lot of apologizing! Very expensive for poor service, unfortunately. Beautiful dining area though. Very comfortable and noise level was easy first conversation for party of 5.
Very nice restaurant with a good noise level. (We were able to talk to one another at my table of four. It’s located in a Hilton Hotel but I didn’t even realize it until seeing the hotel name on the bill. The food was good but very expensive. The starter steak is $50 and that comes with nothing. Even the steak sauce costs extra.
Went in for brunch/lunch on a Sunday. We started with a Monkey Bread. I had the Shrimp and Grits. My daughter had the Short Rib Hash and my wife had the Grilled Chicken sandwich. All were excellent and the portions generous. None of us could finish our meal. Plenty left over for a meal later. Book a table now
Our dog absolutely loved it, and we will certainly be back! The sides were definitely our favorite part and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the baked Mac and cheese and the sweet potato cheesecake for dessert.
Service was slow. We were surprised the waitress did not check on us while we waited for bread and a glass of wine. The music was terrible— like the mall or a truck stop!
I had a very good time, and my guess I appreciate it the scenery. Our table waitress Serena was great help. great place, love it will visit again soon.
