This Urth Caffe location is just next door to the famous Bodhi Tree book and spiritual gifts and things shop (soon to close, unfortunately). I've been here just once in all the times I've come to the area, here's my review for happycow. Basically same menu as the other Urth Caffes in the greater LA area. Plenty ovo-lacto vegetarian meal options with a just couple vegan ones. It's a trendy place, and there is a small area in front of the restaurant for seating. I like the organic coffee drinks. The desserts are look attractive but are too sweet for my taste usually vegan cookies on offer and sometimes a vegan chocolate cake (very sweet). During the holidays, you can order a vegan pumpkin pie....
My bf really likes Urth and stops here during his frequent business trips while in town. During our latest visit he decided to drag me here since we were near by. I honestly don't care too much for Urth because they lack vegan options. Needless to say, I just had heirloom potatoes, they were OK. In the past I've had smoothies at other locations which I remember were good. I wouldn't go here on my own, but if I had to I'd make it work (like this last time).
I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and it is always changing, but if the dinge stay the same is all 100% organic and fair trade! a few of my favorites. portobello mushroom panini without bee! vegan pesto hot chocolate with mandel milk chai latte with mandel milk and a dish of espresso vegan heel flour keks vegan chocolate cake
beautiful place with many plants and a beautiful ambiente. just a few vegan options and they are not on the menu, but they have a pesto and artichoke sandwich that is great, a few other sandwiches and also açai dishes and oatmeal. probs more, but that's what I remember!

Although Urth does have some good vegan options, but the majority of the menu is catered to non-vegans. I'm not sure if they are famous for it, but about 80% of the people I saw in the restaurant were ordering the mac&cheese.
This is a delightful little restaurant with excellent service. They offer good coffee, delicious food, and some healthy menu options. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and highly recommend stopping by.
had a great salate and the vegetarian had a gluten-free caprese. both were good and really big portions. I forgot to ask about the horror on the side, but except that everything was great. the commands have come fast.
I wish they offered more vegan items, but sitting outside with a nice soy or almond milk ice blended tea on a hot day and watching for celebs on Melrose is a popular thing to do!

many seats in the open. ordered the “Omelett” with tofu instead of ice and sans cheese not bad. coffe is delicious!
Not very many vegan options but the grilled vegetable pesto sandwich is delicious! The vegan pesto is super tasty.
