My family, friends and I have had many great experiences and delicious meals at Valentinas, this past Friday night was no exception. The meal and service were great. My one unfortunate experience is with a RESY dinner reservation for the previous week Saturday June 10. I had made the reservation the previous day for 4 at 5:45, unfortunately my wife become violently ill causing me to cancel by phone on Saturday 3 hours prior to the reservation. RESY and Valentinas placed a $100 charge on my credit card. I dined there last night and had a rather disappointing experience. You know that feeling when the waitress approaches your table and you just think, “Oh no”? She was anything but warm or welcoming, and it was clear she was just there for the paycheck. We asked for a second basket of bread twice, but it never arrived. My wife ordered pasta with crab meat, but if there was any crab, it was so scarce that we could barely find it. We mentioned our concerns to the waitress, but she didn’t do anything to help. We really wanted to enjoy our meal more than we did. The Arancini was delicious, but unfortunately it was served too cold. The Salimbuca also missed the mark; it wasn't hot enough and was extremely salty. Oddly, it came with a very large portion of potato wedges. As for the ravioli, it fell short of expectations—just six plain cheese-stuffed pieces, accompanied by a few slices of underripe pear on the side. It was served with a cream sage sauce, but it lacked the necessary balance with the sweetness of the pears. Overall, it was quite disappointing. Not only was the food served lukewarm, but the additional sauce I requested also arrived cold.
Everything about our dining experience was perfect. If you're looking for good authentic Italian food, you need go no further than Valentina's. From appetizers to entrées everything was thoroughly enjoyable. The potions were generous and not overly priced. The Arancini was exquisite with complex flavors. And the Meatballs, as good as homemade. The Bolognese was equally good. The Tagliatelle with Crab and Zucchine was very very good. We finished with dessert, which was the Pistachio Tartufa, which I highly recommend. All in all a perfect evening of fine dining. And even better it's a BYOB. No need to hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

Four of us went out for dinner, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The saltimbocca was dry, and the prosciutto was barely recognizable. The scallops were overcooked as well. The only dish that was enjoyable was the clams and pasta. The spinach was overcooked too. Overall, it was a terrible experience. It felt like the chef might have come from McDonald's.
The food was good, but my pasta was a tad to al dente for my liking. That's why I only gave it 3 stars. That being said, the sauce was delicious, and the soup my husband had was good. I have had better Italian but if you want to give this place a try you should. It is a romantic atmosphere and it's a byob.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our dinner at Valentina's on setember 30th. The service was excellent! Food tasted freshly made. We got the margarita pizza as an app, Insalata con gorgonzola e pere, and the Gnocchi alla sorrentina. We are definitely going there again!
Excellent food and service. It's BYOB but they'll give you wine and cocktail glasses. I had one of the specials whole Branzino which was expertly filleted at the table. It was cooked perfectly and not one bone! We will definitely go back.
