We ate lunch at Vasili's on 20 April. We had eaten there numerous times before as a couple and always liked it. This time, the food was quite average in quality, the selection was limited and the coffee worse than Golden Arches - weak and lacking flavour. The meat in the souvlaki was in large pieces and was tough. We took our friends and I was embarrassed that I did. Strangely, as we were paying (around 130) more food appeared in the cabinet including a nice-looking European potato salad. Maybe the chef was off that day, but not sure we will be back.
Today we enjoyed a relaxed lunch for a family birthday at Vasili's café. The meals of burgers, all-day breakfast choices and wraps were tasty and generous in portion size.All served by friendly and helpful staff members. Very affordable prices too. A casual atmosphere sitting in the outside area and touched that Vasili had time to come out and wish our mother (in her 80's) a happy birthday. We then wondered around the nursery and purchased a few lovely plants.
Finally got to Melbourne to visit the garden and cafe after being a fan of the show for ages. Had brunch, which was really lovely and had one of Eleni's famous and fabulous smoothies.The cafe is really restfully decorated and the garden section really good. I have never seen so many plants for sale so well along, healthy and in fruit!Really enjoyed our visit.
Vasilis's has extended their cafe and put in a beer garden with wood fire pizza oven. We've been here a couple of times now and the pizzas are delicious and great value. They are also great if anyone in your group has allergies or dietary requirements and even have vegan cheese! Lovely, friendly staff and family friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

We have been here several times and always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and lovely Greek-style food served by the friendly staff. The smoothees are usually a big hit for their variety of flavours too. It is also nice to wander through the garden and gift shop as there are many interesting items for sale.
We had the big breakfast (and considering we are spoilt for choice in this area) it wasn't the best and probably should be called breakfast. We had our eggs scrambled and I think we were lucky if we got an egg each in the mix.Coffee was okOverall I think its and expensive place to eat out.
This is a great place to come for a quick snack after shopping..this is one of my many return visits. I love the atmosphere its like sitting on a garden nearly always have their vegie balls and a milkshake, very reasonably priced and staff are very friendly...thanks again guys.'
Came here for lunch on our way to an appointment.Had a steak sandwich that came with chips which was not bad,but wish the olate was bigger or the chips came separate.

I've had many meals and snacks at Vasili's. It's good. A wide range of Greek foods. Homestyle goodness. Service varies - there has been a high turn over of staff.
