I suppose the expectation i had when i visited the Vauxhall Inn was nothing special, and in that respect, i wasn't disappointed.However, this also means there is nothing to get excited about when visitng the Vauxhall. The service is, well, nothing special, the food is nothing special and the place itself is nothing special.The food is as you would expect of something along the lines of a beefeater. Plain food and a little pricey for what you get.Although the service wasn't terrible, it really could have been much better.All in all i wouldn't recomment the Vauxhall, there are much nicer places to eat in the area!
We visited as a party of 4 on 9th October for dinner as we were staying at the Premier Inn and I must say what an amazing experience. We have never encountered such fantastic, polite, helpful bunch of staff, all of them were great. Food was exceptional and reasonably priced. Merlot on the wine list would have been an added bonus but we settled for a Cabernet. We was given an ice bucket to take a bottle of white back to our room which was a great touch. The amazing experience continued the following day with breakfast, once again, great staff serving us and fab well cooked selection. WE WILL BE BACK
I went to this restaurant on a Friday night with a group of 5 female friends. The food and service were both excellent! There were many options on the menu and our dishes tasted fresh and delicious. The service was efficient and the waiter, John, was fantastic. He kept us supplied with drinks and entertained us all night. We will definitely be returning!
We go to the Vauxhall quite a lot as it is close by and we have never had a bad experience there. The Sunday roasts are always good and the staff are very friendly and efficient. In fact, we are going there again today with my daughter who is also a fan. Thank you to John and everyone for always looking after us and creating a lovely atmosphere. Book a table now
I recently had dinner with my family at the Vauxhall Inn and I cannot recommend it enough! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff were fantastic, especially our waiter Scott. We will definitely be returning!
the vauxhall gas house is very nice eating is excellent and the staff was very friendly there for a long time my son lives in tonbridge and he has almost always a table there for a meal when we stay with him.
I had a fantastic lunch today with some great friends at this restaurant. This was my second time dining here, and once again the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.
