Wow, what a little gem of a place! Visiting Cheltenham for the first time, after exploring the town, feeling a bit peckish, sort of stumbled into Vegetus. Not exactly on the high street, but a few minutes walk off the main drag. Cosy, and welcoming, quite busy on Saturday lunchtime, we hadn't pre booked, so we sat outside in the sunshine for a few minutes while our table was prepared. The vibe is decidedly middle eastern, with the jolliest of hosts. His infectious good humour permeates the place. it was our first visit to cheltenham and after the reviews in this restaurant we only knew that we had to try it and it was not disappointed. eating is absolutely delicious, well presented and burst with taste. not only eating was great, but also the service. the owner is a real, beautiful guy who could not do enough for us and when he spoke of his food / restaurant, you could feel his passion. I highly recommend eating here. If we're ever back in cheltenham, we'll go back. thanks vegetus!
From start to finish, my first visit was great. From a friendly welcome to a warm farewell and great customer service with food created to personal requests. The right amount of spice. Apart from Vegetus being the only plant based restaurant in Cheltenham, the owner goes above and beyond. He made an incredible cake for my little one’s birthday and to say it tastes delicious would be an understatement. Definitely a birthday to remember!
