This is one of my favourite local suburban restaurants. Only serving vegetarian food, it includes meat substitutes as part of their range of dishes. You can get the usual variety of Chinese foods, either strict vegetarian or meat substitute vegetarian, either are very tasty. The service is terrific, Steven is quite the character, very welcoming. The menu is very extensive and the prices are very good.The roast duck on noodles was delicious and a serve of empire rice is well worth it. The take away is good too with very generous serves. I've been coming to this place for a few years. Fantastic food, good service and reasonably priced.Hard to get a table on most days so make sure you have a booking. Parking is a problem as the shopping strip is in the middle of nowhere and most people drive. Try the "fish" which is of course vegetarian. There are four flavours to choose from and I've just about tried them all and they are all very nice.
Warm and friendly service. All the dishes were excellent, especially the salt and pepper abolone mushroom and claypot rice which were delicious. We will certainly be back to sample more of the delicious vegetarian dishes.Vegetarian options: The sweet and sour 'pork ' was delicious. It was great to know that no animals were harmed to prepare these dishes.
It is Vegie Mum not Veggie Mum.Steven is most knowledgeable and always prepared to offer suggestions. A menu that changes constantly with different specials all the time. The food is amazing and tastes great and people who are not vegetarian still really enjoy the food and variety. Décor is nothing special but it is all about the great food.

My 2 daughters are vegetarian but not me, so finding a place suitable for all has been a challenge. This place is amazing! You would never know there was no meat in the meat dishes! It looks like meat, tastes like meat, but not tough & chewy as some meat can be. No doubt this restaurant will be seeing my daughter quite often!
This restaurant gets very busy at times and thats probably because the food is great and the service very good, mostly because of quirky Steven who is a good laugh and very helpful. The shop is tucked away in a little shopping strip with about 15 other businesses. Go here, you won't be disappointed.
Vege Mum serves good food, mostly Chinese and Asian. Very tasty and well presented. No frills but clean and pleasant helpful staff. Many Asian families there which is always a good indication of the value of the menu to them. We enjoyed it and can recommend it.
Awesome food, Good service. It's a busy restaurant so preferably book in advance. We were lucky to get a table and enjoyed the food. Also, be cautious, the food portion is quite big, so order accordingly.

The restaurant gets very busy on weekends and you have to book. The food is fantastic made after you order and not very expensive!!
Ate here recently - loved it! Some great food at great prices. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area
