Vertillo's Pizza is one of the best pizza restaurants in the Shoals area and, fortunately, offers dune in which many do not. It should also be noted that this Sheffield restaurant is moved to a Florence location along the Florence Boulevard. One of the things I like best about Vertillo's is that they do not cook their pizza in an old-fashioned style in a stone oven as a conveyor or gas oven. They will continue this tradition, even if they move to the new location. From everything I can collect, they use fresh ingredients hand selected and the owner is on site and takes an active part in the restaurant that is very important to ensure quality standards. Best pizza in Florence or even all the Shoals. We were quite disappointed by all Italian places in the area that simply do not deliver amazing pizza, but as soon as we tried to get rid of it, this place will be hard to beat. Quality ingredients, amazing pizza dough and great combinations of flavors. This is the place to go. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant is also a plus.
Amazing pizza!!!! Always the best every time!!! Very friendly, helpful staff. Here you have to eat when you're in the Shoals area. Try the calzone, pasta and cheesecake oh my word. Save space for the cheesecake. If you are full, take it home worth it. You will thank me!!!!!!!
Great dinner at Vertillo tonight! We had The Works pizza, Greek salad, and cannolis. Delicious the crust was the best part. Service was excellent and we enjoyed hearing meeting the owner, Marlene. She gives a 25% discount to military and first responders that’s huge!
