Closed: Vg Bio Briare

We stumbled upon this independent store completely by accident and weren't disappointed. Briare has just 5,000 habitants, so never would we have expected to find something like this! It really helped us to find vegan groceries, without having to go to a supermarket, or a chain organic store. Everything is vegan and organic. The lady running the store was lovely and this is perfect for hungry vegans on a cycling trip along the Loire Valley! There was a small fridge which had some products that you could use for lunchtime sandwiches, such as hotdog sausages. It's not the biggest store ever but don't miss the slightly hidden room at the back, with all the vegan milk. Updated from previous revie...

We stumbled this independent business completely randomly and were not disappointed. Briare has only 5,000 inhabitants, so we never expected that! It really helped us find vegan food without going to a supermarket, or a chain organic shop. Everything is vegan and organic. The lady who runs the store was beautiful and this is perfect for hungry vegans on a bike tour along the Loire Valley! There was a small refrigerator that had some products you could use for lunch sandwiches, such as hotdog sausages.
