We've been going to Vie since 2008! We love this place and will keep going as long as it's open. Most recently, we enjoyed the New Year's Eve 2022 with wine pairings. We always get wine pairings, the knowledge of this staff on how to elevate the food with wine is truly awesome. We get to visit family in Downers Grove a few times per year, and we love the accessibility of a high fine dining experience in what seems like our back yard. Elevated food, atmosphere, and the staff is great. Love it!
The food was fantastic. Well worth every penny. In fact, for what you get,I would say it was reasonable. More importantly, our waiter Tyler and the Lady who was the somalia had such great service and attitudes. We went for my wife's birthday, and I will be back for sure. I cannot reiterate enough how great the service was. Even the bus man was warm and knowledgeable. You are missing out if you don't give this place a try. One note, have a 20 year tawny port for dessert, you won't regret it!
We went for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The staff went out of their way with a couple of nice gestures. Service was impeccable. Food was cooked to perfection. This is a special occasion restaurant for us but was well worth it.
