It's rich and heavy on the meats, particularly wild game, heavy on fats; heart attacks waiting to happen. When I asked what vegetarian options existed, the waiter actually snorted, and could not refrain from making jokes about a three course salad meal. A friend and I were walking the Way of St. James and passed this restaurant where we wanted to have a bite to eat for lunch. We were greeted in a very unfriendly way and looked at disparagingly because we were wearing hiking clothes and a backpack. The gentleman who served probably wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible because he was reluctant to offer us a table. Then when my girlfriend asked if she could even have a drink (I was about to eat) he told her it wasn't a bar it was a restaurant and ran off. An absolute cheek. This was booked for a business lunch based on the Tripadvisor reviews and was a perfect experience.We were greeted by the patron, given a quiet table and had a fantastic meal served by staff who were efficient and obviously knowledgeable about the food.Plan to take my wife there as it was such a nice experience.Try it.
