Family and I stopped in for dinner mid-week. The entire area was quiet and parking on the street, diagonal from the restaurant, was a breeze. I had called in for reservations the day before but when we arrived, there was only one other diner there, so seating was immediate. First impressions were that it was a quaint place and intimate due the lighting (or lack thereof). Our server quickly came by with menus and took our drink order. Having viewed the menu beforehand, we knew there would be something for everyone. Their online menu touts the cuisine as Global Fusion Tapas and it 's definitely Spanish/Portuguese with an Asian twist on some dishes. There were plenty of apps and small bites as...

I had been eager to try this restaurant after reading the great reviews and seeing the Instagram-worthy pictures, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ended up feeling disappointed and had an upset stomach from all the greasy food. The roasted potatoes and yucca were basically just overly fried French fries, and the lobster mac and cheese roll with fried chicken turned out to be fried mac and cheese topped with popcorn chicken. The munchkin burgers were extremely dry and did not have the promised glaze or coffee infusion mentioned on the menu. Despite being very hungry, I found the food to be more like bar fare cooked by bartenders or fast food prepared by teenagers. T...

I am an ice bear. Normally I eat spotted seals in the wild. When I?m on land? I go to Vinoco in Mineola where Chef Carlos Roman creates the most delicious dishes. We picked up a bunch of dishes for New Years and everything was ready on time and pipinghot! And then? we devoured everything. Meat lovers platter was seasoned perfectly. His empanadas?? Don?t get me started. Iwould turn human to eat these more often. The KFC Bao Bun was perfectly crispy. Rice and beans, maduros, yuca and potatoes allinsanely delicious. But wait!! There?s more. Tempura fish tacos?? Just stop the review now. I don?t know how to properlyarticulate how crispy and flavorful they were. Heaven in a bite. Thank you Chef....

As a self described foodie, this was one of the best food experiences I have ever had. The creativity that Carlos is able to express through his menu is on a different level than most. Carlos is an incredibly amicable character. He and his staff caredabout our experience and it made a difference. I would tell anyone and everyone to make the time to get here and try a bite ofeverything! The tapas style menu is set up for it. In a group of people who can never reach a consensus, the Korean FriedChicken Bao Bun was everyone?s favorite. Will definitely be back! Book a table now

I must say, wow! What a hidden gem! If you haven't tried Vinoco, you must. The owner is amazing and personally involved in the restaurant, which is reflected in the food and drinks. The dishes were so beautiful and delicious that I couldn't resist digging in and forgot to take pictures after the first bite. That's how good it was! The restaurant offers tapas style dining, so order a little of everything like we did. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed!

Went there for the first time today, and the food was super awesome. We first tried the Sangaritas, which is a mix of sangria and margarita, and it tasted super delicious. Then we had a series of tapas, consisting of lobster empanadas, meatballs, fig, and prosciutto all were just a burst of flavors. The service was exceptional. I was too busy enjoying the food that did not have time to take pictures of them but I definitely recommend this place.

Vinoco, a tapas bar in Mineola, is a hidden gem that I was hesitant to share with others. However, every dish we tried was outstanding! The empanadas, arepas, sweet plantains, and fried chicken bao buns were all delicious. The owner was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and intimate. It's a great spot for a casual and romantic date night.

I had never eaten anything so delicious. When I tried the meat and chicken empanadas I thought who is the person who invented such a tremendous flavor. 100% recommended a hidden place where you can eat as many times as you want. Book a table now
