Looking for a sunny patio on a Saturday midday after the farmer's market, we decided on Vintage when MadisonTap wasn't yet open. Vintage had outside seating in the front (on E. Wash) which was shady, and on a side courtyard, which was half sun, half shade. We asked to sit in the courtyard. Hostess sat us at a table in the shade. We asked to sit in the sun. Hostess refused as the tables in the sun sat 6 and the tables in the shade sat 4 and we were a party of 2. I wanted to leave immediately, but as we were already on destination #2 and a bit hungry, wife convinced me to stay. We ordered some apps, cheese curds and Rip Rip chicken, and tried to order some brunch cocktails...an old fashioned a...

My wife found this place while we were in Madison for a wedding and boy are we glad that we went! In addition to the good beer selection, the food was fantastic and the service was good, albeit slow due to how busy it was. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Burrito (see picture) and I ordered the Rip Rip Cheesy Mac (see pictures). Both were delicious juicy, rich and flavorful. I really liked the Rip Rip Chicken on top of the macaroni and cheese, so if I went back I would probably try that by itself. This place is definitely worth a stop when you are downtown in Madison. A great place to watch a game. A very solid beer selection with above average food. The amount of TVs really made watching both soccer and baseball easy. The staff was incredibly efficient and provided excellent service. The food was very good I had the Cubano and my friend had the macaroni and cheese. We both like the beers we chose. The location which is only a couple blocks away from Breese Field, made it an ideal location to have a beer and a meal.
They take breakfast/brunch reservations and they have bottomless mimosas, so this place won me over real quick. It's close enough to the square that it's a very central location, but also not so close to town that it's overrun with the college kids. Reasonably priced, great food and drink selection, and the soft pretzels are to DIE for. Definitely would recommend! Book a table now
The road construction made it a little hard to get to, but it was well worth the stop.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My cousin and I each had a flight to sample their beers. The flavors are true to their descriptions. We didn't eat, but the burgers looked amazing based on what other customers ordered.
Robin was our waitress. This is her 2nd time waiting on me. She's slow. She got our order wrong. Never cleaned the table. Hovered over me waiting on me to calculate my tip. She never checked on us. I'm not sure if she has anxiety or what. And our order was wrong.
Got the bluegill fish fry. Fish was very good. The coleslaw was disgusting, I spit it out. The coleslaw had zero flavor, I'd have preferred they not even include it.$1.50 per dipping sauce is insulting. Do better.
Everyone was awesome from the host to the waiter, The food is great even if I only get the nachos every time. Huge selection of beer that is delicious. I would have posted more pictures but I ate it too fast ?? Book a table now
Always great food and service. I have ate here for brunch, lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. Creative drinks and food but nothing too weird for those who don 't like to be adventurous.
