We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!
Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outer flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. Our waitress managed not to make both dishes hot, but to keep all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and incredible. We'll be back.
Wanted to like this restaurant. The view is amazing and very nicely decorated. However, the priced grouper was served with two tablespoons of tarter sauce with strong raw onions. Not as described on menu.... nor was the dessert. Way over priced for what I received.

This restaurant is one of our favorite spots of all time. It's cozy and comfortable, with a warm ambiance and excellent food served by candlelight.
A favorite for the Chinese cuisine and the fine approach to it. Superb service and the place makes a great cocktail.
