1) Our appetizers were served at the same time as our entrees. We requested that our seafood boils be left in their bags to keep them warm while we enjoyed our starters. This was manageable. 2) When we finished our appetizers, we asked the waitress to pour our boils onto the tray. Unfortunately, half of the mussels fell onto the table. Mistakes happen, no big deal. 3) There was no bucket provided for our shells. Again, I thought maybe she was just new at this. 4) As I began eating, I noticed that the mussels were extremely dry (overcooked) and quite large, which was unappetizing. I asked the manager if they were the usual black mussels since I always order them and they were never like th...
I visited the restaurant with my mom and had an amazing experience with wonderful food. Rice, the manager, really went above and beyond when the chef couldn't open the shell of my mom's lobster. He personally took the initiative to help her and expertly opened the lobster shell, wearing gloves while he did it! What a kind gesture—thank you, Rice! He even refused a tip, stating he did it out of the kindness of his heart. We need more people like him; the world would be a much better place! The food and drinks were fantastic, and I would definitely come back with my whole family!
The oysters were decent; I didn't have high expectations for a place like this. The seafood Cajun boil was okay—while I appreciated the flavor of the sauce, it didn’t really penetrate the meat, so it felt like I was eating plain boiled seafood with a side of sauce. However, the chicken wings were a highlight—crispy, juicy, and very flavorful. The molten chocolate cake with ice cream was just average. Our server was a delight—sweet, friendly, and polite. Despite our large group, he treated us like valued customers and remained friendly throughout our visit.
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday after church, and I was really craving seafood. I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The service was friendly and prompt. Our waitress was delightful and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We had hopes that the baked clams would be a bit larger, but they were still tasty. The jambalaya pasta had a nice kick and was quite enjoyable, and the seafood boil was simply amazing—you can customize it to your preference, which I appreciated. Their lunch combo is an excellent deal, featuring a seafood boil bag priced between $13 and $15, and it includes a bowl of soup and slices of toast. This is their lunch special. We also ordered calamari and chicken wings as appetizers, both of which were delicious. The voodoo adult Capri Sun was a fantastic cocktail for $12—fruity but you can still taste the rum. The atmosphere was relaxed, complemented by a few classic songs from the Backstreet Boys and Alicia Keys.
The food was outstanding, and our waitress was fantastic. The manager, Naseem, was very attentive and professional; I appreciated how he checked in on us and other guests to ensure everything was going smoothly. I will definitely return. As for kid-friendliness, they have high chairs available, and the environment was very clean.
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! Be prepared to get your hands dirty, and definitely don't wear white. Everything was exceptional: the food, the service, the beers, and the music all made for a perfect atmosphere. Thank you, Voodoo Crab, for such an incredible experience. We can't wait to return soon!
If you are not going substitute as asked...tell me. I just paid $13 for 2 sliders only. I asked for mashed potatoes.no fries. I got nothing in place. Ridiculous! I'll not order again. I am disabled I thought thus would be ok...nope. Book a table now
Fantastic staff! Quick service. The place is very pleasant and clean, with a cool, relaxed vibe. The food was quite tasty too. I enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and the lava cake. Be sure to visit when you're in town!
