Very good kitchen in a cozy ambience. On the one hand, the gunsmith offers Palatinate and seasonal cuisine, but is also known for his carving and steak variations. The quality is good, the portions decent and the eye is not too short. In addition to a selection of wines, there are Franconian beers from the barrel. The service is friendly and fast. Especially on weekends, the restaurant is usually fully occupied. Therefore you should definitely book. The audience is clear about Ü60, but young families should not be destroyed. There is a small drop because the beef was a bit tangible and you obviously put on natural flavor enhancers during seasons.
Had a very nice meal at Waffenschmiede during a recent trip to Bad Durkheim. It was cold and raining but the restaurant was warm and friendly and nearly full on a Thursday night. It appeared to be mostly locals. The food was typical German fare but prepared well and very tasty. They had some nice local wines as well. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Recommend this restaurant as a comfortable place with good food, good wine and good staff. Will be back.
How have we been going into the gunsmiths for years now and have never been disappointed. Super Rumpsteak (in the pictures the forging master Rumpsteak for 19 Euro) and other dishes, including sour kidneys (who's like) and alternating daily dishes. Urgent ambience and also an outdoor area towards Kurgarten, no longer on the road. I can only recommend the gunsmith.
