We ate breakfast here 3 days in row while vacationing in San Diego, CA, so that should tell you how Great the food is. I had the Grande Breakfast burrito with ranchera sauce. It was enough for 2 people to eat as it was stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon,ham, sausage, fried potatoes, cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla covered with a really good ranchera sauce. Hubby had a varietyof waffles (plain waffle, Apple cinnamon waffle with apples cooked in it and fresh cut apples on top with cinnamon sprinkledbutter) alongside scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I am not understating that. This is an over the top breakfast and lunch palce located in the Kings Inn Hotel on Hotel Circle south. Fresh food served in delicious usual and unusual combinations. Great Coffee. Good service. Comfortable seats. The special waffles look great and based on how much they were ordered, must taste great. I had a more traditional breakfast, which was still way better than average. Toast was hot, thick and delicious. Pricing is very reasonable, and if you are staying at the kings inn they give you a 10% coupon. Ask at the front desk and try to get a coupon. Do eat here. I absolutely loved this place! My Churro Waffle Platter came with two perfectly cooked eggs and delicious home fries mixed with peppers and onions. The idea of a churro waffle is pure genius! It had crispy edges, was dusted with cinnamon sugar, and was topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Although it didn't need it, I drizzled some maple syrup on top, and wow, it was incredible! The coffee was also a cut above what you usually find at diners. The restaurant had a clean interior, and the service was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Who doesn 't want to eat at 'Spot ' with a giant King Waffle outside? Inside the space has a retro theme with a great color scheme. The staff were all amazing. Helpful, attentive, pleasant. Food was out fairly quickly, even though they were fairlybusy. The red velvet waffle was crazy good.. adding eggs, bacon, and sausage to make it a platter was almost too much food! Iwill say that they 're a bit overpriced for breakfast foods..even by Cali standards. Overall though.. highly recommend.

We were waiting to check into our hotel. This was the closest restaurant to us. We got seated kind of quickly. We sat for a while and ordered waters and they never came back. They finally took our order and we got the French dip. And a house salad. When the food finally came the salad was missing cheese and croutons and the French dip was missing the Aujou which makes up the whole French dip. The French dip was good and flavor was actually really tasty and so was the ranch.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the blueberry waffle with fried eggs and sausage. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out to me; in fact, I think I'd rather go to Waffle House than return here. The meal came to nearly $20 with the tip included. On the plus side, the service was good and the place was clean. Since it's attached to the motel, it could be a convenient option for guests who don't want to drive anywhere.
This place was so cute and so on theme it was just perfect. We stayed at the King's Inn and the Waffle Spot is located on the premise of the hotel. The waffles were super delicious, the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked every time, and the decor justmade me smile. Works definitely go back. Plus, the mascot, he's just awesome.

Small dinner with great taste and large portions. It was our first time, but it won't be the last. I had the choir waffle and it was DELICIOUS!! The chicken was very crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inner waffles (ALL) were very airy, fluffy and light?.
