What do Dagersheimer Waldhorn and Orientexpress have in common? The Waldhorn opened the same year in which the Orient Express took its first ride, namely 1883. I find this on the homepage of the house, after my first visit to the Waldhorn, although I felt at least a hundred times past the building in the last few decades, and I also often wondered whether the inn has (still) open at all. It is situated in the middle of the main and through road of the Böblinger district Dagersheim, but always makes a somewhat closed, remote impression. Since the hotel business dominates, the external impression is that the hotel is only open to overnight guests. Don't. However, the restaurant has only opened...
