The food at this pub is brilliant. It's cooked well and served with a smile. On the plate, it really does look good enough to eat The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. All dietary needs are catered for. The items on...the menu are well labelled so diners can choose the meal which best suit their needs. There are often some good meal deals on the menu as well. Couple all this with the friendly, comfortable and safe ambience of the Walnut Tree Shades and you'll soon discover this is a pub not to passed on while you're in Norwich.

this is a great cuddly pub that makes live music on a Friday night. we make a beeline for this pub when we stay in norwich. it is a side street fucked and can be very busy, but everyone is friendly, they are not. feel uncomfortable in it and they get people of all age groups. you talk to many people. when we were there last, a group of about all dressed as different characters from the rocky horror show and it was great. No one moaned, but since it is a small pub, most of them drank outside. great secret pub.

I came to the Walnut for the weekly, Thursday night ‘Open Busk’ which also happened to fall on my birthday. As well as enjoying lovely beer local brewery Moongazer’s ‘Pintail’ Claire, the landlady, laid on a great range of sweet and savory snacks...including legendary scotch eggs, a ‘substantial meal’ favourite. The team at the Walnut are great, going that extra mile to make you have a wonderful time whether you’re sitting inside or outside listening to the ‘Open Busk’.

Located away from the main thoroughfares, this restaurant is a hidden gem that should not be missed. The menu rivals that of larger, well-known chain restaurants. When we visited Norwich for the second or third time, we made sure to return to this establishment and even recommended it to our family who live closer to Norwich. The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating an authentic city pub atmosphere that maintains the traditional pub vibe. Book a table now

found this urige pub in norwich, just randomly show a sign on the way, it can be stuck in an ally, but if there I found the eating excellent and the staff very welcoming, I would very much like to restore this place, they also cook...Gluton free eating, not many places do that was also a bonus, all about it was a surprise when I return to norwich this is the place

I have eaten here several times . The food is very good , the staff are friendly and efficient . There is a good choice on the menu including vegetarian and Gluten Free . As I am a coeliac the choices of gluten free is...great and very reasonably priced . The pub is a lovely old building hidden down a small pedestrian alley opposite the famous Norwich Market .

On Saturday morning, my daughter and I stopped by this restaurant for breakfast. The standard breakfast was the perfect portion size for both of us and very delicious. The restaurant is situated in a quiet street between the market and a bustling pedestrian zone. The cafe-style outdoor seating and friendly staff make it a place worth visiting.

The staff is lovely and always welcoming at this restaurant. It is one of the few pubs where we could find Cask Ale during our visit. The location is excellent and perfect for enjoying a few ales after a day at the market. Book a table now

this pub could easily be overlooked, and a mistake that would be. a varied selection of tariffs for cheap trips in an intersing atmosphere of classic half-rock music.
