that watan is our new favorite restaurant in würzburg. we did not know the Afghan cuisine yet, but have learned to love it now. the price-performance ratio is top and eating is a pleasure. the atmosphere looks authentic and an evening in the watan is like a small holiday for us. However, the service is so attentive and friendly that you get used to the oriental calmness quickly. we have already been eating some of the time and have now got ourselves a Pakistani cookbook, as it goes on time (every week once there) but into the money. However, it is difficult to find a parking space in a reasonable floor.
The food was tastefully good, but the value for money is not true. Much too expensive for the portions. Unfortunately, the meat was only Lauwarm. We had the menu for 2 people (35€, 10€ less and it would have been okay. NOTE: For the menu there is only one drink in 0.2l per person, so not in the card. The best was bread. This is really delicious, with de Dip, TOP! In short, we don't get back so fast. Too bad, guys, adjust the price and we'll be happy to come back.
It's a pity that Ms. Khan was so brutally braked because of the pandemic. We at least ate once in the Watan neighborhood. Sometimes we were even eight there and as good as always were all more than satisfied: top fresh and in best quality. Recently, Watan also offers dishes for pickup. We have 9 choices to call, so we ordered four dishes. What we got was not a To-Go quality, but the best restaurant quality. Where else is it cooked with real saffron?

Comparable many, very delicious vegan spits that are mostly characterized as vegan. Especially the Naan bread (unfortunate in the map not labeled vegan, but on request vegan) is highly recommended! Updated from previous review on 2022-11-07
We had tickets for the Chambinski theatre and were looking for a place to eat nearby, so we found this place on Happy Cow. Really cosy and nice selection of food. #Veganuary
