after reading the reviews, i almost cancelled my reservation. i am happy i didn't. we ate outside very relaxing and comfortable. we needed assistance to get to the outside dining. the wait staff was pleasant and very accomodating. waterdog tavern has a service elevator that can be used for patrons. we chose to order two appetizers for our dinner. all the dishes came as described in the menu and timely. unfortunately, the menu on the website did not match the menu we received at the restaurant. my recommendation is that the website should be updated.
it's just not the same. the last couple of times we went as a waterdog, we didn't care about eating. When I saw that they changed the name and menu, I was hopeful. but again nothing tastes great. all bland, they use a microwave, it's just blah. I felt definitiw that I was was wasting my money the last two times. it is regrettable because the restaurant itself is beautiful.
they love this beautiful outdoor area where we can bring our dog and enjoy a wonderful evening meal!
