The manager , Melissa gave very racist vibes. She refused to even acknowledge me. She then was annoyed when her colleague told her my special order. She made the drink, while not filling it to the top and handed it to me like that. I guess she was the manager. She had no name tag. I asked for a bag she told me she forgot to order them. So I asked if I can get one of the Uber bags she told me she couldn’t give me one which I can understand, but she should’ve at least offered to have somebody help me carry everything out to my car. When I told her, how am I supposed to carry everything out to my car? She basically told me too bad. It was very difficult and I dropped my drinks in the parking lot. I love all the staff been coming here for the past 5 years but will take the drive to the oldbridge wawa since a women with the tag “willow” took me long time since she never has a name tag always talks with disrespect when questioned I try to avoid her but she’s the only one sitting around. Had phrases towards me such as “not my problem” “there’s another wawa” ask for help with a sandwich on the top not slid down says “your almost there” instead of stopping to help how embarrassing I have never met somebody so rude towards elderly.
I had a very unpleasant experience with a cashier named Kayla. She directed racial slurs at me and referred to me using derogatory language. All I did was ask if I could leave my coffee behind to grab my purse from the car, which I had forgotten. Instead of assisting me, she erupted in profanity and insults. I ended up paying for my coffee and leaving, but I will not be returning to this establishment until she is no longer employed there. It's unacceptable to treat paying customers this way. I love Wawa, and normally visit several locations, all have been great. However, this one by far is the worst one I've ever been to. They are understaffed and it leaves the associates there having to do more than normal and it shows. Employees have attitudes, people having to wait longer times, people waiting to pay at the registers, etc. I'll be sure to avoid this store in the future.
I usually enjoy visiting this Wawa, but unfortunately, my experience this morning was disappointing. An employee named Kayla treated me and my 70-year-old mother very rudely. I had never encountered her before, and her communication skills were lacking. She even made my mom cry and called us names. I hope Wawa can address this issue.
Update to previous review This store is improving after having gone downhill. Give them some time to get their ship righted. There are new faces, and the better of the old faces remain. They are good and well people trying to do their job. As regular patrons, It’s important that we are flexible
