I’ve heard about Wayne’s Hot Dog stand for years, it’s somewhat mythical and cult in the area. I was driving down 175 at lunchtime and remembered I’d wanted to try this for sometime since I’m a fan of a good hotdog!The hot dog stand is on a pull behind trailer parked on Oceano Dr a south direction rd a couple intersections west of the MD175 US1 intersection. I found a short line outside and Wayne himself inside the trailer stand dishing out hot dogs, kielbasa and meatball subs.Man, Wayne is really a friendly and engaging person worth the stop just to “meat” him!In the end, I didn’t get the hotdogs not a fan of dogs held in a hot water bath … it affects the texture.
