Minestrone was best that I ever had didn 't have any of the crappy little tube pasta you usually seeing the US no pasta at all. I had the pasta with shrimp. Could have used more shrimp but the sauce tasted of shrimp and...that was great. DW had the gnocchi and she really liked them (I would have preferred if they were a little firmer). Only quibble verging on a complaint and hence the 4 not 5 stars was the wine special which was good but over priced and the first menu we were given had a different wine as the special and that 's what I thought I was ordering. Next time I would definitely get the minestrone and order a wine off the wine list not the special . In the US, I always bring my own...
We just cycled back into Interlaken from the Grosse Schiendegg and were pretty hungry. The restaurant was busy but the owners got us a table. I had the gnocchi and my friend had the salmon pasta, both of us were very happy with our meals. The staff came and chatted to us asking us how our day was and it gave the restaurant a homely feel to it. I would recommend this restaurant.
When on holiday, we don't usually eat at the same place twice, but in this case we were happy to make an exception. The restaurant is elegant, the wines are fine and the food is exceptional. It is evident that Maximo and his team are passionate about what they do. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Food is truly amazing. Wine selection is unbelievable. However, the friendly service and atmosphere is what brought us back a second night. If we were staying in town any longer, we would have been there a couple more times. 2 weeks in Switzerland and this is the only restaurant we visited more than once.

We had dinner here after returning from an all day trip to Jungfraujoch. The food was very good and the service excellent. We really enjoyed this restaurant and would eat here again if in the area. Prices were reasonable. Great for a quiet dinner.
I spent more than two months in Interlaken for business , and I got to know Paolo and his cooking very well. it was like feel at home! Try everything, but definitely worth trying tagliolini with truffles! it's a must. Ciao Paolo!
We had a fantastic meal on a rainy June night. We were warmly welcomed and chatted up but the real star was the food. The risotto with boletus was fantastic!
