visit of clearwell caves and landed on the land drive to somewhere to midday and stumbled over this beautiful looking pub, we went in and got a great welcome and offered a table, menu had much to offer, good healthy eating, children eating was great, the fish was huge! I had a venison pie that was beautiful. the staff was very friendly and attentive, the pub was clean and had a good atmosphere, food and drink prices were good. the next time we're in the opposite, we'll definitely come back.

we had a nice meal at the weston cross. the food was delicious and beautiful presented, prices very reasonable in the did and service good. we all had different appetizers and all were good, but the portions were too big for us to eat it all.

traditional (family run? pub with very friendly staff. in a dripped to lunch with the dogs and eaten in the garden. Make sure they are not open all day, so don't show up too late and make a damper.

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. Excellent service, the only thing that let it down for me was the choice of cask ales. I am not a fan of Bass or Worthington, but that is just me.
