White Deer - Table reservation

I’ve not eaten in at White Deer but when collecting take-aways it has always looked cosy. The staff are friendly and the service is very quick (just ten minutes at quiet times) so I’ve been back twice. Additionally, the pizza itself is was really good, a punchy tomato sauce, crispy base and plenty of cheese and there were even vegan options (something I was surprised to see in France). The vegan pizza was pretty good and had lots of flavour with the roasted vegetables on the top, the only thing I’d say is that there aren’t many gluten free options (if any) but I suppose this is to be expected from a pizzeria.

We popped in here earlier in the day to book a table as there were seven of us, but were told to just turn up. We did and had a lovely meal. The pizzas were very good, with a choice of tomato base or cream base. Absolute delicious. The wine by the jug was very good value and we all had a fantastic meal, with plenty to eat and drink for about €20 a head. They were also playing some great 80’s tunes on the night we went, which was right up our strasse!

Super friendly staff great location close to the slopes and the appartements of Chamrousse 1700. Navette is about 100m far if you are in another part of the resort. Very good food. We tested the pizzas (3) and the lasagne all excellent. Prices are « normal » for a ski resort. Staff is really nice and atmosphere is relax and quiet. There is a small place with some games for the kids.

We visited here for an evening meal. We were very impressed with the good service and friendly staff. Good ‘pizza’ restaurant with plenty of choice.

Verry nice cuisine, pizza's are verry good. Personel are friendly!! I will recomend the White deer, when you are in Chamrousse
