Got stuck in Montclair from our way home after SB19's WYAT LA TOUR because our car broke down in freeway. We found our way in this Wienerschnitzel after our tow truck dropped us in the Costco across because they can only take 1 person home. Fabiola andJose, the nightshifts tonight, were amazing and fabulous and they let us in after telling them we're freezing outside waitingfor our ride. They're only open for drive-thru, mind you, but they let us use their everything- restroom, their cleaned tables,and all. If you're from Montclair or near the area, better check out this place!
Sadly, the only highlight of my order was the mustard packet. I've never had an issue at this Wienerschnitzel before, but the mini corn dogs were charred, the hot dog was tough and rubbery, the fries were cold and soggy, and there was no salt on them. I wouldn't even feel right giving this to my dog. I sincerely hope this was just a one-time error.
They have vegetarian hot dogs and they taste GREAT! I missed having hot dogs and I have tried finding good tasting hot dogs in stores. Hadn't found any. Well they have some. My son loves their chili cheese fries but who doesn't. The drinks are great too.
The food was great, and although it was crowded, the wait was definitely worth it. I ordered a chili dog, fries, and a root beer float. The root beer float was delicious and generously filled with ice cream. The customer service was excellent too.

Wienerschnitzel's chili dogs have been my favorite since I first tried them in 1969—truly a classic old-school style, and they are absolutely amazing! Be sure to check out the menu and give the french fries a try too!
The corn dog and hot dogs were excellent as usual. I also tried the Classic Mac n Cheese, and honestly, it’s not worth it—it tastes worse than homemade instant mac and cheese.
Everything is warm and welcoming, and I love all the staff. Jacqueline is my stylist—she is amazing!
The Mini Corn Dogs were overcooked and virtually inedible.
