We visited Wilcom's Inn Monrovia on a Thursday for a date night. The bar area was packed, and only a few tables were available when we arrived. Fidias gave excellent recommendations, suggesting the Sauvignon Blanc from Quivara. We began with a generous portion of ceviche, featuring squid, shrimp, and tilapia. For our main courses, we ordered the steak with crab cake and the Peruvian fish accompanied by yucca fries. Both dishes were hearty and reasonably priced. We ended the evening with their signature tres leches cake. We look forward to coming back again soon.
After waiting 20 minutes for the small portion of crab cakes that never came, we concluded that they were intentionally delaying service to limit what customers could eat. Given that crab is quite expensive these days, it shouldn't be offered on the menu if they can't fulfill orders. It's disappointing because we genuinely want to support local businesses. After spending over $200, including an obligatory 20% tip, and receiving only a few items that were overly salty, I don't think we'll be back.
Our first time dining here, everything went great. I started with the crab soup and it was fresh and good size portion. My wife got the iceberg salad for a appetizer and it was also huge, definitely big enough to split. Entrees we got the Cowboy Ribeye and the Filet Mignon both were cooked perfectly. Service was also excellent. Our only complaint was that it is a very small space for dining and can get a little loud. Would definitely come back again.
My husband and I are new to the area some friends got us a gift card to Wilcom’s Inn, so we decided to try their brunch… and we were NOT disappointed! The food, selection, portions, price, and service (I believe his name was Brian) completely exceeded our expectations. What a hidden little gem! We will 100% be back. I will say, the parking/parking lot was a bit of a turn off at first but we forgot all about that after our wonderful experience!

My wife recommended that we do brunch at this middle of nowhere restaurant...the staff, the atmosphere and the food was PHENOMENAL! I especially enjoyed the fact that they do taste portions so you can try various dishes for the first time without the remorse of spending too much on something you may or may not like. Its a bit pricey but...i think its well worth it. Great service and great food will always get my vote.
Relaxed atmospheres delicious food that keeps coming out until you are full and you have over 20 items to choose, along with bottomless mimosa. Service is polite and helpful, always with a smile. Reservations are a must, this is not a walk-in resturant.
Cozy and fun. What a great concept for brunch. TAPAS. I love the size and presentation of all of the Prime Rib brunch choices. There is an international touch to the menu that is unique and fun to explore. I would definitely come back.
Gage is simply the best! He added happy birthday to my dessert without being asked.
