I had a great time at this location. It's conveniently located near JFK Airport, making it an ideal spot for tourists with layovers in New York. You can enjoy views of the New York skyline here. The beach is clean, the food is delicious, and the boardwalk is enjoyable. Just a heads up, baby sharks tend to come close to shore during this time of year, so be cautious. It's also perfect for cycling, and there is good access for those with disabilities. In the evenings, you can catch some live rock music on the boardwalk. Overall, it's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, and the train connections are quite convenient.
