What a pleasant surprise! I rushed into Wildwood in a hurry, I was in a film festival at the cinema across the road, had very little time between shows and was starving. Sounds bad, right? I ended up in Wildwood because it was not as busy as its neighbours. Not a good start. At least, not by the wisdom of the crowd. But this is Lothian Road, and the crowd isn't always the sharpest around here. Wildwood was very quick and understanding of my situation. Pizza was excellent. They were generous with the blows and it's fresh. It is only a disadvantage that the waiting times are a time long (maybe 15 20 minutes when moderately busy), but it is so goo because of this. Lasagna went well down and the ribs were good. Very delicious. Then Dessert was for to die, the sticky toffee was excellent, moist and simply melted. The brownies were class, Turmosoil (the coffee cake one) was amazing and ice really good. A few weeks ago after the cinema. Philly Steak Sandwich was nice, but the chips... The chips are one of the best I had. Cooked as I like. Most restaurants seem to go for a soft approach. These chips were really crisp on the outside and soft inside. The manager and the waiter were nice people they were talking to.

The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and took good care of us. All removals (e.g. tomatoes) requested were honoured. However it was a little overpriced and the selection was limited. It also seemed oddly quiet compared to other restaurants nearby.
Excellent double pepperoni pizza with the thinner base. It was delish. My friend's were equally happy with their choice of food. Pleasant friendly service. It was very quiet for a Friday lunchtime but maybe that was a good thing as we hadn't booked
Delicious food and fast service! The pizzas were much bigger than what we expected! And the prawn starter I got was so delicious, the sauce was amazing! Both I and my partner enjoyed both beginners and pizzas!
Lovely time, staff were great, restaurant a little quiet but that wasn't a problem. Food was very good for the price. Better than most other options on Lothian Road. Nice cocktails too!

Friendly service. Great super food salad and good gluten free pizza and pasta options. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was not noisy or overcrowded.
Lovely place with lovely food and we had a really nice waiter! Didn’t catch her name but she was blonde with a southern English accent! We loved her!
