Gluten-free wings?! Absolutely, and they are fantastic! We visited this quaint wing and bar spot for takeout just off Rt. 16, and we were really impressed by both the flavor and the value. We also ordered fried pickles and received a generous portion. However, we had to deduct a star for the tiny serving of carrot and celery sticks—just one piece of each! It gave us a chuckle. Regardless, we definitely plan to come back. Tip: don't miss the lemon pepper wings (yummy and salty, with a dry rub) and the chipotle honey mustard—they're both scrumptious!
This incident occurred on Tuesday, September 23, 2020. My aide, who is in her 20s, struggled to bite into them as well. As a person with diabetes, I need to eat quickly when my blood sugar is low. Instead, my aide had to boil water and add a bouillon cube, dumping the entire order of wings into the pot to make wing soup, which was neither wanted nor planned. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.
Great fast food of all types of chicken wings. Everyone loves the potato bites too! Paying for extra sauce is a little annoying, but I guess it makes sense to avoid waste. The bartender was friendly when we paid in cash vs card, which has to be at the bar. Dietary restrictions: You can be totally gluten free here! I had my first experience dining with this restaurant, and it was somewhat disappointing. We ordered takeout, and while the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired.
