We love the food but they’ve had challenges with the service staff from the beginning. Huge turnover. In managers as well as wait staff. Last night was especially annoying. We went early to avoid crowds. There were only 3 tables occupied. We ordered an appetizer roll and our two entrees. We waited and waited. Usually the appetizer comes within 10 minutes. Sometimes 5 minutes. At 20 minutes we flagged down a service person (not the one who took our order) and asked if he could please check on the appetizer. About 10 minutes went by and then the appetizer and entrees were brought to our table. I asked if this was a new thing, bringing the appetizer with the entrees and I was told they came out...
The menu at Wokcano is no longer as nice as it used to be. It is now just a printed sheet of paper, which should have given us a clue that something had changed. Maybe there's a new owner or manager? The service was poor, as it took half an hour for our happy hour drinks to arrive (only after we asked again). One out of four members of our group didn't get their drink until we asked where it was after 20 minutes. We also had to wait a long time for our take-out box and even longer for our credit card to be picked up. The food did not meet our usual standards. We often order the same dishes, so we immediately noticed that the taste was off. We used to come to Wokcano regularly since it opened...
The dinner started off well, but went downhill from there. The drinks were good, but the food was only partially cleaned up and we were left by the three servers. We waited 10 minutes for our bill and finally had to go up to pay ourselves. There was no one around and we could have easily left without anyone noticing. Eventually, one of the servers came and seemed to not recognize us at all. After explaining that we just needed the check, he was kind enough to give us a 15% discount. The restaurant has an impersonal atmosphere and the service was lacking. It felt more like a cafeteria and we did not enjoy the experience. We don't believe this restaurant will last long.

I used to love coming to this restaurant because the food was always great, but the last two or three times the service was lacking. I had to search for our server to place our order and had the same issue when trying to get the bill.
Dinner was very good. Desserts were delicious. The pear martini was the best. Service was excellent. The only thing I didn’t love was that in the booth we sat in, the bench was too far away from the table.
Amazing sushi and service. Great for happy hour! Have tons of great options on their happy hour menu. Will definitely be returning.
Does not have all you can eat option like other Wakcanos. Everything else was great.
