I think he is in the main a good dentist but about 10 years ago he was encouraging me to take teeth out like so many other dentists in sydney I found that they are too quick to extract when in fact they should be maintaining teeth. Luckily I did not agree to take them out and after 15 years plus I still have my teeth n they help me chew well. I don't think extraction should be called treatment !!
Dr. James Hay is an exceptional dentist. He is kind by nature and gentle with his patients. My entire family has been visiting his practice for years. I first came here in 1976 (although Dr. Hay wasn't here at that time). He is a skilled dentist who only treats what is necessary and charges reasonable prices. You can truly trust his team to provide honest care. I highly recommend visiting!
Dr James Hay is a true gentleman. Gentle by nature and gentle with your teeth. My entire family have been going to this practice for years. I myself stated going here in 1976 (but Dr Hays wasn't here then). A great dentist that will only treat and charge you for the necessities. This was my very first visit to Dr. Hay James, and I found him to be a really nice guy. There were no extra charges from Medibank Private, which I appreciated. As it was my first time at the dentist, I didn't feel overwhelmed at all. I will definitely be returning in the future! Book a table now

Jenny the receptionist is an absolute delight as you walk through the front door with a big smile. James is very caring and knowledgeable friendly dentist such a gentleman.

"Excesses freshly remaining oysters with a fantastic glass white while we watch the sun over the boats at the Spieß-Marina! I ask you ... On a Balmin summer evening in Sydney where would you prefer to be! Only 10 minutes booked before he arrived so happy to get the best table closest to the water! FULL HOUSE BTW. Baby snapper with olives, grapes and capers and black angus with caramelized onions and rocket salad. Tiramisu to exclude everything. Who cares when the service is a small "Fiji time". I am chilled and watched the sunset."
