**Preserved Egg and Tofu Salad ($4.99)**: This dish is served cold and features cubes of tofu mixed with preserved egg, all dressed in a sesame oil vinaigrette and garnished with green onions. Initially, I found it a bit too mild and wished it were cooler, but it eventually grew on me. I struggled to decide if the sesame oil overwhelmed the tofu's flavor, if the tofu dulled the oil's intensity, or if both simply lacked sufficient flavor. **BBQ Cabbage ($2.99)**: This dish includes two substantial skewers of square-cut cabbage leaves, lightly brushed with oil and seasoned with traditional Northern Chinese BBQ spices such as cumin and red pepper powder, along with salt and perhaps other seaso...

We tried a variety of dishes, but overall, the food fell short on flavor. The lamb skewers, which were highly praised, were a highlight thanks to the cumin powder that really brought out their taste. Unfortunately, the BBQ lamb ribs were overly chewy and had more of a fried taste than a grilled one. I had high hopes for the hand-pulled noodles in seasoned chili oil, but they were undercooked and tough to chew. The chili oil didn't pack any real heat, leaving the dish unimpressive overall. The beef dumplings were disappointing as well, lacking flavor, and the accompanying vinegar didn’t enhance them at all. On a positive note, the crispy beef in sweet chili sauce was well-executed, likely the...

We visited this restaurant a few years back and had an okay experience, but this time it was genuinely disappointing. We ordered four dishes, and everything was excessively oily; we couldn't even finish half of our meal. The lamb soup didn't taste like lamb at all, and the BBQ lamb ribs were as tough as rubber. In August 2023, we ended up paying $140, which is nearly double what we spent at a nearby restaurant that also specializes in lamb and served delicious food. To make matters worse, I had to pack up the leftovers myself, something I’ve never had to do before. We don’t mind paying a premium for good food, and honestly, I would have felt more satisfied spending just $60 on this meal.

I had a fantastic time at this Chinese BBQ restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious with a wide range of options to choose from. As a member, I really appreciated the discounts, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food arrived. One great feature is that you can select your preferred spice level. There’s plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant, which is very convenient. I definitely plan on returning! Our total bill was $85 for two people, including tax, and we had so much food that we couldn’t finish it all. Book a table now

The membership fee is $20 in cash. Dining for 2-3 people usually saves about $10 per visit, meaning you can make up for the membership cost after just two dinners. The food is decent, although it doesn't represent the best Uyghur cuisine from Northwest China in the Greater Toronto Area. The quality of the meat varies and isn't particularly impressive. For instance, the $19 chicken noodles had very little chicken in them. On a positive note, the service is friendly.

A friend first introduced me to this restaurant, and I instantly fell in love with it. The lamb, chicken, and beef tendon kabobs are absolutely delicious! Their homemade noodles are also fantastic. I highly recommend this place. I visited again today, and just like my previous visit, I was so caught up in enjoying the food that I forgot to take any pictures! But no worries—the menu is loaded with pictures.

A top recommendation from my visit is the meat skewers, particularly the lamb, which is excellent if you like a touch of spice. I did observe that many of the dishes had similar flavor profiles, but they were presented in various forms, such as homemade noodles, naan, and Chinese pancakes. Nevertheless, everything we tried was incredibly tasty! I will certainly return with friends in the future.

This is one of my favorite places for Northern Chinese cuisine! The lamb skewers, particularly with the VIP discount card, offer fantastic value for money. I've visited multiple times and sampled a variety of dishes. Overall, I can confidently say that most of the dishes are quite good, with only a handful that are just average. Book a table now
