Beijing House on Jericho Turnpike is a sit-down restaurant with delicious food and more reasonable prices. You know it’s a good spot when it's packed with locals.
As an update from 2022, I want to mention that since Covid, we haven't been back to Beijing House very often. They were closed for a while, and when they finally reopened, it seems they must have changed chefs because our takeout was disappointing. One of our favorite dishes, chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce, tasted off, and a shrimp dish was simply awful. I'm sorry to say we've decided to move on from Beijing House.
On the other hand, Golden Temple on Jericho Turnpike has flavorful food and offers both Chinese and Japanese...
I had a terrible experience at this overpriced Chinese restaurant. The food was loaded with what tasted like pure MSG. The BBQ ribs were old and dry, and the chicken wings were of very low quality. To make matters worse, both my cousin and I ended up feeling sick afterward. Even my dog, who usually devours anything, refused to eat the leftovers. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant to save your time and money. Trust me on this one.
Would not recommend.. Food is bad. For its value hell no. You get a little take out bowl container when you order a $10 dish. I ordered a fried rice w/ char siu (Pork) and besides the char siu and I tasted nothing else, only a mushy texture. Only reason why I'm not rating it 1 star is because they were able to make my dish in less than 5 minutes. I'm guessing they don't make it fresh.... very disappointed.
I ordered the egg foo young lunch special and was pleasantly surprised. The only thing it really needed was a bit of salt, which was surprising since most Chinese takeouts tend to be overly salted. It was a fantastic lunch for just $10, and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

To fairly evaluate this restaurant, I have ordered from here multiple times and tried various dishes. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese takeout restaurant by far. The ingredients are very fresh, and they are cooked properly, which makes the food incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it!
I drove seven hours from Buffalo just to try the famous hot and sour soup at Yim's, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The customer service was outstanding, and I can't wait to return for more delicious food.
For 20 years, this place has offered the best food, surpassing all local Chinese restaurants. The portions are generous, and everything always has that homemade taste. Highly recommended!
That's the best Chinese food that I had in a long time chicken and broccoli with brown rice it was delicious little expensive but they give you a lot for your money
