We visit this Chinese buffet often...It was fantastic years ago but now it is not the same place.The ladies restroom was disgusting and filthy inside the stall. PLease wash the stalls walls and disinfect. ughh !! I won't even say.A lot of the items were not there- like the cold musselsThey changed the recipes on a lot of cold salads...like the egg salad...Who puts frozen mix veg. in egg salad??? ew ! IT used to be fantastic .My husband said the chicken wings were overcooked and doused in sauce-he could not eat them either.The roast beef could NOT be cut using a dull serrated bread knife. really? It was like a joke trying to slice it while the staff watches....I had 2 types of cookies-choc. c...
Came here for lunch on our way to Port Rowan/Long Point area with rather low expectation. The place is fairly large and apparently had it's days. Washrooms (both men and women) are in fair condition. The buffet food is mainly Chinese although there are some Japanese and Western as well. Most of the foods are of course not top notch but edible (not sure about the sushi as dared not to eat anything uncooked not prepared by authentic Japanese). The refill is also fast. For approximately CAD10, this is not a bad choice.
My husband and I were there last Tuesday, for the first time. Service was ok. All the food was over cooked, mushy and serve lukewarm. The egg rolls and spring rolls were so crispy that you could not cut them with your knife. We felt like there was nothing made in the restaurant, just frozen food re-heated. Definitely not my favourite food. Price is cheap and it is what you get! Carpet needs cleaning. We will never go there again!
Recently a group of us went to Great Wall Buffet. They have some areas partitioned , so there is privacy. The buffet is not large, and has both Canadian and Chinese food. There was a fair amount of choice, and the food was hot. I enjoyed the wonton soup, which was excellent.. The service was good. The restaurant was very clean. I enjoyed my meal.

We always enjoy going to Yong Great Wall Buffet. The food is decent and the atmosphere is always welcoming. We brought a cake from home due to my son's allergies and they were cool with it. They even got us a lighter to light a single candle. The only concern is the walls could use some paint and they could replace the super old carpet.
The food is to fatty , to doughy way to many sauces on everything, the vegetables are not to bad, but the three times I was there my stomach was always upset after, may be to much MSG I don't know , I just would not recommend this
Like eating old food not going there again bathroom was terrible i can imagine what the kitchen looks like not the pales to go that is for sure between food and bathrooms is my big deal dot mater were i go
Nice and friendly environment good choices for lunch or dinne. Good place when you don't want to go over the budget. More choices to select on dinner than lunch. Fresh prepared buffet.
