Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Room

Good food in a relaxing environment. We enjoyed all our dishes. The medium rare steak was exactly that, so a hat tip to the cook is due. On both the trout and steak entrees, it seemed like the meat to vegetable ratio was rather high we would have preferred to have more veggies and less meat. The chimichurri accompanying the trout didn 't quite balance with the rest of the dish; it tasted suspiciously like the ceviche sauce served at the the ahwahni. Still, the meal capped off the day nicely.

Restaurant is nice, good ambiance, but I had the Rib eye, and I can tell you it was extremely mushy, I asked for medium rare, I have had better steaks at other steakhouses and it was WAY overpiced, yes I get it, your in the park but man o man, I would not go again.

Wonderful. Check in was very nice and our server John was terrific. The food was terrific for both of us. Wonderful ambiance as well.
