The fried rice was bland, resembling boiled rice rather than properly sautéed, with mushy, unseasoned vegetables. It didn’t resemble hibachi at all. Even after paying extra for garlic butter on the side, the dish failed to improve. I'm incredibly disappointed in the lack of flavor in the food.
My last experience with hibachi at Yoshi's Fenkell location when it first opened was much better, and I had hoped that with the opening of new locations, the quality would improve. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The service remains poor, and the food quality has declined since 2019.
I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone in search of a good hibachi meal. It's worth traveling...
This used to be my favorite restaurant, but not anymore. I ordered Hibachi chicken and rice through DoorDash on September 4, 2022, and I knew something was off when my food was picked up less than 10 minutes after I placed my order. This suggests it wasn’t freshly made. The food was extremely dry and tasted very old. I won't be coming back. I’d rather pay a bit more and eat at Benihana instead.
They really need to do a better job at hiring the girls at the registers. Every single time I come I'm met with the most lackluster greeting ever. I came in today and asked for an order and the girl literally put her head down on the desk and said nothing as if I wasn't sitting in front of her. I'd never give this place business.

The small portion of extra garlic butter costs $1.50, which you really need because the food is quite bland and lacking in flavor without it. It doesn't even seem like they actually cook the dishes in the garlic butter. While the presentation is appealing, the taste doesn’t live up to it.
I ordered the Hibachi double chicken and shrimp, and unfortunately, the chicken was extremely dry and difficult to chew. The Sweet Yum Yum sauce was tasty, but I was only given one small container of it. I won’t be ordering from there again.
The food was disappointing, and I won't be ordering from there again. The only item that wasn’t overcooked was the onions. The rice was tough and dry, the chicken was incredibly salty and also dry, and the mushrooms were difficult to chew.
This definitely seems like a money laundering operation because there's no way they have this many locations, and they're all terrible.
