I'm new to Sydney, and at times I find it difficult to find authentic vegetarian cuisine for a decent price. BUT Yulli's is absolutely the place to go. It's affordable, great atmosphere and delicious food. It's basically a tapas style dining where they encourage sharing and ordering several dishes. A friend and I went for dinner and shared the following dishes. The food was unique and had interesting aromas - tasted like inspiration from a mix of kitchen. We chose the steamed tofu, which was exactly that, and it had some sauce (something too sweet) and crispy pasta around him. I feel a little steep for what you get, but the flavors were great. Also had the soba noodles, the flavoursomes were (a little too salty). Would recommend if you want to try good food with well thought-out flavors. But to fill yourself, probably not without breaking the bank.

Just what I did not like in this place was the ambience, it was so loud (Curs at 19.30 clock) that I scream practically over the table (30 cm away from the other person). It was also pretty squish...
In Surry Hills, this is a vegan and vegetarian joint with plenty of choices. It took a while to get served but once we ordered the food came out fast. Interesting options, like vegetarian money bags and pizza. We got the veggie chips that came with aioli, salt and chilli sauce to dip in. Fresh pumpkin, taro and lotus root chips with tempura batter. We also tried the ginger and leek dumplings as pumpkin and cauliflower. The food was all very nice and pricing is reasonable. They have a huge range of beers including vegan beer and wine. I'd suggest booking as it was busy. @

Yullis is going to go her trendy vegan who wins over meat knives like Moi. It is magical than your average vegan eater, which is justified in the not as average offerings. I have found that vegetarian / vegan restaurants can be unimaginative, but Yullis combines fresh ingredients and supplies imaginative culinary combinations (see pictures). There are also pile to choose from, and if you stay stuck, WartStaff are very helpful. Everything I ate was delicious and quantities satisfactory.
Nice atmosphere, cute little set up. Some good choices. Took a while to get served but the waiting staff looked super busy ! The rice noodles came with two bits of broccoli...needed some more veg for a vegetarian dish..starters were yummy....generally pretty good,I'd probably visit again but in no hurry
Must book! This is a fabulous restaurant. The food was awesome! Great variety and extremely tasty. The staff are very helpful and efficient. And the prices very reasonable.Loved it and would go again! My only complaint is the stools are not comfortableand the tables are small.
Expensive food, but great portions. Both the tofu and the dumplings are Fad and tasteless. They are not that bad. But probably not what I expect. The customer service was also negligible and cold ?????????

I'm so glad I found this place! Delicious, fresh and affordable food. Friendly and fast service. The place was packed late in the evening for dinner mid week. I can't wait to come back!
