This is a lovely sushi restaurant situated in a charming area. The miso soup is outstanding; I've been to many places where it's often overly salty, but this one strikes the perfect balance. The sushi is enjoyable, although I found the ramen to be a bit lacking in flavor. The tempura is quite delicious, too. While the floor felt a bit sticky, the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. The staff were courteous, and the prices are fair. Portion sizes are just right.
One of my favorite sushi places in Madison! Found them on doordash and have been ordering from them ever since. My family usually does the $55 party tray, it comes with 8 rolls that are chef’s choice and they’re all really good. The fish is fresh and every roll is unique and delicious. The price is unbeatable. Other sushi places are usually around $16 for one special roll, and this party tray comes with 2 special rolls and 6 regular rolls.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Our server, Nancy, was a delight and made our visit enjoyable. The chefs were also very accommodating with our requests. The atmosphere was intimate, reminding me of the more upscale sushi places I’ve been to. As for the food, it was exceptional—the sushi was perfect, and the cooked dishes were neither too greasy nor overly seasoned.
Took us a bit to find, not realizing it was right on the corner (should've checked Street View sooner! Lol). Food was delicious, and very reasonably priced. We had seaweed salad, miso soup, and a sushi roll. Will definitely be back when we're back in Madison! Book a table now
Absolutely amazing! Every dish, from the rolls to the sashimi, was fresh and incredibly flavorful. The server was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!
The food was excellent. We were the only diners in the restaurant at that moment, but there were quite a few takeout orders being placed while we were there.
