Following a craving for some sushi and sashimi, we decided to try this local place in Concord. The food was all very good, and super fresh, and although we arrived within minutes of closing time, they welcomed us nonetheless. As such, we needed to place our order very quickly, meaning we didn't have a chance to peruse the full menu. We got the Sushimi Platter, the Agedashi Tofu, the Tiger Rolls, and some California Rolls. All came out promptly and was presented in precise Japanese style. Would we go back again? Definitely, but we'd go earlier next time so we're not so rushed.
Great find - friendly staff welcoming you in Japanese - very attentive without being intrusive - extensive menu (have to go back for more tasting) food did not disappoint fresh sushimi (melts in your mouth). Teriyaki chicken devine, tempura lightly battered very easy on the palate - Champagne & meal complemented each other perfectly (as per our experience in Japan) - cheers - enjoy the experience!
Fantastic Japanese restaurant in Concord. The Salmon bento box is yummy to eat with a mix of salmon, tofu, teriyaki salmon and a mix of salads. The restaurant is small and hence could get full during lunch hours. The price may be on a little higher side compared to some of the other Japanese restaurants but the food takes all the credit, please try it one and I suggest more than once
Yume Sushi is a great value cut above your standard Japanese fare. Service is always attentive, friendly but not in your face. Food is fabulous. Atmosphere cosy. Also nice that you can have a decent glass of something at a very reasonable price.

If you want proper Japanese cuisine then this a must for the locals. Don't waste your time going all the way to Strathfield or Majors bay road. The price is fair (sits in the middle) and you can tell by the quality ingredients.
They have 3 restaurants and this is my least favorite. A bit disappointing. However, service is good. I rather travel to Drummoyne or Harberfield and get better quality food with same price
