It was our first time here and will definitely be coming back. We ordered the Agedashi Tofu, Soft-Shell Crab and Crispy Rice Tuna for appetizers. The tofu was already in the sauce, which made it a bit soggy. I'll have to ask to put the sauce on the side next time. You can't go wrong with the soft shell crab, but I was ok with the crispy rice tuna. My husband, however, loved it!Now for the main dishes, we ordered too much not knowing how big these are! We got so used to AYCE sushi lol.Sashimi: Blue fin tuna, salmon, scallops, and uni. The blue fin was melt in your mouth fish, even better than the salmon, which is already my favorite fish. The uni was so creamy and rich. This might be a bit of...

The location is hard to find because it's under construction. You can also park in the lot, they will stamp your parking pass. We dine-in on the patio and it's a very chill atmosphere other than the ongoing construction. The drinks are okay. My friends ordered mojitos and the mint leaves were dried and turned brown/blackish. They could have removed those out.We ordered a plate of sashimi, and usually I love raw fish but this time I couldn't make it. I decided to try the tuna first and it was slimy and very fishy. Yes, it normal because it's fish but we don't think it's was fresh enough. The salmon teriyaki is good. Their rolls and crispy rice appetizer are phenomenal! Definitely would go bac...

In terms of food, we tried the sashimi dinner, which I would rate as a 9/10. The generous cuts of chef-selected fish completely satisfied my craving, and it was served with rice and miso soup. We also tried the Kobe style beef dinner, which I would rate as a 7/10. The flavoring was good and it was served with rice, but I felt that the Kobe labeling raised my expectations a bit too high. The service was excellent, and the bathrooms were clean. Parking is validated, but it can be difficult to find a spot in the busy area, so you may have to park on neighboring streets. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely return for the sashimi.

Yumi offers some of the best sushi in the Saint Paul area. The sashimi is fresh and presented carefully, with generous portions. I loved the salmon and tuna, and found the prices to be reasonable considering the quality and quantity. The rolls are unique and visually appealing, with a variety of flavors and textures to enjoy. The specials showcase the chef's skills and creativity, while the menu includes staple dishes and traditional favorites. I was delighted to see mocktail options available for non-drinkers, making me feel included and appreciated. Overall, a wonderful dining experience at Yumi. Book a table now

First time here and great experience. There was a large party that walked in right before us so service was a bit slow. Our waitress was great by keeping us updated and apologized for the long wait.Sushi was awesome but rolls were a little more expensive than I was expecting. Highly recommend the honeymoon roll. I also like that they offer to cut the rolls thinner if you prefer smaller pieces. They also have a small outdoor patio with string lights that’s cute.

Good cocktails. Good selection of sashimi. Wish they had more shellfish-free roll options. The roll was HUGE, impossible to eat in one bite. The patio was closed even though it was a beautiful night. Wish they were open later. We would have ordered more drinks, but the server did not check in much, and it wasn't a busy night.

Sushi was some of the best we have ever had. We had the titanic roll, 2 spicy tuna rolls, and salmon nigiri. All of it tasted so fresh and the spicy aspects were actually spicy. Also our server Cassie was great. We are visiting the area and she gave us a few recommendations of things to try while we are in the area.

The whole experience was so amazing! Our server Abby was friendly and attentive. For what we ordered I felt like the pricing was fair. However there was a mystery surcharge on our bill which we might have felt better about if it had been explained. We'll definitely be going back again! Book a table now

Portion sizes are Huge. I didn't think you could Americanize sushi anymore....I was wrong. We also waited 45 minutes on a Sunday night for three rolls. They comped our apps, but it was our first time here and last. Food was good, nothing special.
