The garden is nice, but the food is so-so and our experience with the staff was definitely not agreeable. Most importantly when sending back one of the different tapas-like foods we had ordered because it the hummus was really bland/ undated and tasted like cardboard, and hadn’t touched the dish more than the samples taken to taste it <10% … the waiter comes back suggesting that it is indeed bland but that’s the way it is… and we got charged for it although we didn’t eat it!!! When again arguing about the charged uneaten ans sent-back dish, we are told that they cannot accommodate for our taste preferences!!!! Flabbergasted that the waiter preferred to charge us than to have us remember this...
Been here a couple of times and I wasn't disappointed. Once we tried the Tavolata Menu (we were 4 people) and we were quite satisfied with it, with a wide range of dishes, from classic to more modern ones. If I remember correctly, they even asked us in advance if there was something we did not like/we couldn't eat, just to be sure we could enjoy all the courses. In another occasion, we tried the daily dish and everything was very good. Service is fast, kind and very attentive. During the summer is also a nice place for a drink outside. Price in range with any other Zürich restaurant, so for a tourist might be a bit pricey.
Very good atmosphere, good food, was always well attended “before corona” spontaneous visits usually ended up at the counter. Unfortunately we couldn 't plan we wanted to make a reservation for an aperitif with business colleagues we were turned away with the reason you don 't normally eat at aperos neither reassurance nor a minimum sales guarantee could get us a booking. I 've been avoiding this restaurant for 3 years now and not only have the alternatives within walking distance grown and better, there are also restaurateurs who are happy to welcome our group.
Everything is quite good, very fine tavolatas, extremely exciting wine list, especially Bordeaux wines. The service was friendly, the place was full. The acoustics are rather loud, and the children's menu leaves a lot to be desired. This could be done better with little effort.

Always cozy, staff attentive and very nice. Food very fine, at reasonable prices for Zurich. The crispy bread with soup or salad in various variations is simply wonderful. I'm looking forward to being able to sit outside under the trees again soon...
Wonderful dinner, such a great place and helpful staff. Four of us, including two kids, enjoyed our visit immensely. We ordered the Tavolata and were surprised each time by the fantastic flavor, texture, temperature of each dish.
It instantly became one of my favourite restaurants in Zürich. Delicious food in a dining room that has a very nice energy! Highly recommend it!
Very nice place, just came to drink wine on a summer evening. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace garden. Try it out!
