It is by no means authentic Mexican. We have been to Mexico 3 times and we always go on about how sour cream is not Mexican! Nor are the (hard) tacos. They don't serve hard tacos in Mexico only soft tortillas and sour cream has ventured it's way to the western world, Australia. Nor do Mexicans use so much red onion! They should try using an authentic Mexican cheese like Manchego not Cheddar! I understand it is a franchise- it is fresh but by no means authentic. The corn chips they serve are also nothing like they are in Mexico- they taste like they are from a packet from the supermarket and they don't use the spices that are sprinkled on top. Had lunch here. I had the beef burrito. The burrito it self was very tasty I had a few extras like the avocado. The burrito is wrapped well and easy to get it into your mouth. I understand the expense of Avocado but its annoying going to Mexican restaurants and getting charged the extra to have the guacamole. My other gripe was on the day I went they had run out of chicken which was my first choice. The staff were friendly and the restaurant is clean and trendy, inside and outside seating and they have alcohol if you feel the need. I recommend Zambrero for a good burrito. Its comparable with GuzmanYGomez with prices and burritos. Ill be back for a chicken burrito.
Nice place. Friendly staff. I had the quesadillas and they didn't correct my pronunciation thankfully. Here comes the but.. the flavours were ok but the size was disappointing. Like 2 pikelets folded in half. Paid alot for lunch and left hungry. They need to be more generous for the price if these franchises are going to last.
We love Zambrero. We have been to several of them around South East Queensland. Clean, fresh, healthy and fast food. Very tasty and we have always been impressed with the service of the staff. Highly recommended if you are unsure of Mexican food. Even if you're a seasoned Mexican food fan, the flavours are great.

Great food but very overpriced, when they first opened they had staff that had no idea what they were doing or even know how to make a burrito or nachos , they have made a look of improvements since opening but prices are still very high ,
We tried it Thursday night. My wife and I both ordered slightly different meals but both felt sick after. The meat is just in frypans on display. Not sure how long t has been sitting around. Love Mexican but would not go their
Great for a big feed of comida Mexicana rica. Fast, large, healthy food. While I prefer the great food and 'experience' at LatinOz, I sometimes want Mexican and fast. Highly recommended.
Been there once and never again. You won't believe the super small portion sizes they try and justify when you ask them. Poverty mentality restaurant and very non-generous.
