This was a great option for a catch up yap and a casual lunch with friends away from the city hustle and bustle. The Cafe is located in the lovely kings Park and surrounded by lovely gardens, manicured gentle grassy slopes, children's play areas and tranquil ponds.The menu has lots of deliscious options and the fresh juice bar was a real treat on a hot summers day. You can see the fresh fruit which is a treat (as many places use frozen fruit). I did notice that they had Tinned pineapple which was a bit disappointing but easy to avoid. Since relocating back to Perth after 18 years this little cafe in Kings Park ahas become a bit if a dual tradition - family outing specials like mothers day; as well as the place to bring overseas friends while showing them OUR Kings Park. Have always enjoyed it here, even when it's full its relaxing; the views, kids play round, nature around is great. The Coffeee is always of good quality, good selection of nibbles or light meals. So far staff have always been helpful and friendly, something I appreciate when bringing a diversity of people with me. :)Recommend Zamia's.
We met family and friends to catch up for a nieces birthday. It was a windy day but we sat outside and had protection from the blinds. We could still look out to the surrounds. A good selection of cakes which we were told are made by them. All looked and tasted very nice, no complaints from anyone. Good selection of tea, coffee and other drinks. Friendly staff and only a short wait for our big order to be serves. Our only comment was that the hot chocolate was lukewarm. A nice spot to look out at the surrounds while having lunch or afternoon tea.
As a local Perthite and whenever my family visits Kings Park, we always stop for a coffee and cake, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea depending on the time of day. We've never been disappointed with the food, friendly service and the surrounding Kings Park gardens. Zamia Cafe is the stopping off place when we take overseas or interstate friends. Great for couples, families with children and even those with pets who are permitted on the veranda!

The best choice in kings park. Great food choices, good coffee & cake.Coffees are expensive. The food prices are reasonable considering the generous portions & the quality of the food. Plenty of food choices for all dietary restrictions. Families could share a few mains. The small takeaway kiosk is a handy option for ice creams & food. Transport without a private car could be difficult, there is parking nearby for disabled visitors.
Zamia Cafe is a great spot for a cupa or meal in Kings Park West Perth WA. Prices can be a little expensive but they - the meals are of high quality and large - usually more than the ave person can eat. Nice parkland surrounds with lake, turf and native plants. Well worth the visit. Don't leave any valuables in your car though as thieves do break into the cars regularly.
Based in the middle of Kings Park, this is on of my favourite places for either breakfast or lunch. Good selection of healthy meals and an equally good selection of cakes and buns. Good value to. Guess in summer, lunchtime will be busy, especially at the weekends.
I met a friend for coffee and cake! Wow I love the selection of cakes, the menu is amazing and I watched the meals come out looking absolutely delicious! The ZC is great all year round. Lovely staff, quick service and excellent food! Love coming back to this cafe.

Just as well we always have a table booked because it is always full. Beautiful spot in the bush just a moment away from the CBD. The food is wonderful but we're just there for the coffee and a chat. Hint - ask for the coffee to be extra hot
